After I finished my conceptual character design process I
looked at the character I had created and realised that modelling this
character was going to be extremely tough even for someone who has proficient
at modelling and seeing as this is the first bit of character 3D modelling ill
be embarking on I decided to change the concept idea, the first big change was
the gender so now the character will be female, conversely to this she will
also be an alien in nature but will still keep the western feel that our
characters are meant to be for by making
her wear western styled clothing, I got inspiration for this from the show
defiance and firefly where the sci-fi meets western style of living. The
inspiration I will be using to model the head was from a piece of fan art for
the alien race Drax in the Mass effect series Which are a race of humanoid
aliens that share the characteristics of aquatic Reptile.
